Ultimate Dr Who Fan?

The Progressive Freebie Challenge is in full swing at the Limited Runs Facebook Page and there is just under one week left to enter. This month the image is a deadly looking bug!

Materials used: Limited Runs – Steampunk Bug
X-Press It card
gold mirri card
alchol ink coloured acetate from snippits box
white gems
A5 white card blank
Copic Pens

The image is printed on X-Press It card, coloured with Copics then trimmed to size. It is matted onto gold mirri card.

The front of the card blank is covered with a slightly smaller piece of the coloured acetate. Four white gems are coloured with a green Copic pen then stuck in the corners.

The sentiment is printe on white card, trimmed and edged with a black pen.

The matted image and the sentiment are attached to the front of the card.

It was a happy chance that the piece of acetate I found left over from a previous project worked so well with the colours I had used on the bug.

Thanks for swinging by. Take care.

About Pippa

I started crafting at an early age though not always successfully, my pillowcase tennis dress has, thankfully, disappeared into history. Funnily sewing is not something I enjoy! My favourite crafty activity has to be card making, especially stamping which I have been doing for over 20 years and am still a beginner, there is always something new to learn. I also enjoy knitting and crochet. I am not an artist, cannot even draw a straight line with a ruler, but I love colouring in, which is why stamping appeals so much. I am married, have recently retired from being a part time HLTA at a local village primary school, have two grown up daughters, both married and a mad cat called Finnegan. That, in a nutshell, is me.
