Path of Positivity Challenge – Appreciation

A new challenge starts today at Path of Positivity and the theme is appreciation. We all like to be appreciated, whether by family or friends or bosses! There is nothing quite so disheartening as going the extra mile or putting your all into something for someone and just be taken for granted. So don’t wait for Valentine’s Day, Mothering Sunday, Father’s Day, Birthdays or Christmas to tell a loved one what they mean to you but show your appreciation every day!

Materials used:
Kitten Scraps – Spring Cleaning DigiStamps
X-Press It card
Copic Pens
designer paper
green card
A5 card blank

The image has been printed onto X-Press It card and coloured with Copic pens then trimmed to size and matted and layered before being mounted on the card blank.

The sentiment has been printed on white card and matted before being attached to the card front.

We would really appreciate it if you joined us at Path of Positivity, the challenge is open until December 4th so there is plenty of time. You do not have to make a card, anything goes. The only thing we ask is that you make it clear how your project relates to the theme, just a sentence will be enough it does not need to be an essay, unless you want to write an essay on appreciation for your entry. There are plenty of prizes on offer so why not take a look at our sponsors images for inspiration.

  • A $12.00 gift certificate from A Day For Daisies, one of our guest sponsors this month, for the post or project that the team deems most inspiring of the bunch.
  • A $20.00 gift certificate from Kitten Scraps, one of our guest sponsors this month, for a person chosen in a random draw based on all entrants.

There will also be:

  • A small selection of digital designer papers from Décosse’s Dynamite Doodles for one lucky person who leaves a comment on posts published during the challenge time frame.
  • One digital sentiment for every single person who enters the challenge.

Thank you for visiting. Take care.

About Pippa

I started crafting at an early age though not always successfully, my pillowcase tennis dress has, thankfully, disappeared into history. Funnily sewing is not something I enjoy! My favourite crafty activity has to be card making, especially stamping which I have been doing for over 20 years and am still a beginner, there is always something new to learn. I also enjoy knitting and crochet. I am not an artist, cannot even draw a straight line with a ruler, but I love colouring in, which is why stamping appeals so much. I am married, have recently retired from being a part time HLTA at a local village primary school, have two grown up daughters, both married and a mad cat called Finnegan. That, in a nutshell, is me.

She is so adorable running her little vacuum along! You are so right, we do need to show our appreciation for those around us everyday; it’s just too easy to take those closest to us for granted!

Thank you for your comments. They are appreciated.
