Mmmm, Chocolate!

Over at Less is More this week there is a colour challenge; chocolate and mint.  I have been meaning to have a go at this little mouse image for a while and this seemed the perfect time to do it!

Materials used:
Docrafts mouse and chocolates stamp
words from various greetings stamps
White and brown card stock
x-cut scalloped circle dies
Spectrum Noir pens and pencils
brown sugar loaf pen
Memento Tuxedo Black and Rich Cocoa ink pads

The mouse was stamped onto white card with the black ink and coloured in with the Spectrum Noir pens and pencils before cutting out with a scalloped circle die. The cut image was embossed and then the edge coloured with a green pen.

A slightly larger scalloped circle was cut from the brown card stock as a mat for the mouse image. The completed topper was then stuck to the front of a white card blank made from an A4 piece of card.

The different words and parts of words were inked with the brown pen and stamped onto the card blank underneath the topper.

Thank you for popping in.  Take care.

About Pippa

I started crafting at an early age though not always successfully, my pillowcase tennis dress has, thankfully, disappeared into history. Funnily sewing is not something I enjoy! My favourite crafty activity has to be card making, especially stamping which I have been doing for over 20 years and am still a beginner, there is always something new to learn. I also enjoy knitting and crochet. I am not an artist, cannot even draw a straight line with a ruler, but I love colouring in, which is why stamping appeals so much. I am married, have recently retired from being a part time HLTA at a local village primary school, have two grown up daughters, both married and a mad cat called Finnegan. That, in a nutshell, is me.
